FM: Hungary sees the Turkic Council as a “forum of peace"

The prime minister is heading a delegation of government members, including Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Economic Development Minister Márton Nagy and the PM’s political director Balázs Orbán.
PM Orbán said Hungary is initiating a high-level summit of the leaders of the Turkic Council and the Visegrad Group (V4) in Budapest in the first half of 2022.
PM Orbán is scheduled to attend the 5th meeting of the Turkish high-level strategic cooperation council and hold talks in Istanbul at the Turkic Council summit.
Building on a shared Hungarian-Turkic cultural and historical heritage, cooperation between Hungary and the Council’s countries will benefit.
