Hungary supports the diversification of European energy supply and has made headway in this direction by increasing oil imports from Kazakhstan, which now cover 16% of its total consumption.
The agreements were signed within the framework of a business forum in Nur-Sultan organized by the Kazakh Chamber of Foreign Trade and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The foreign minister said cooperation between Hungary and Kazakhstan is a good example of the success of Hungary’s eastern opening policy.
