Minister Szijjártó noted that Hungary’s annual exports to the Southeast Asian country are now worth around 100 million US dollars.

The bilateral agreement was signed during the Vietnamese delegation’s official visit to Hungary.
Péter Szijjártó said that Hungary is grateful for the medical equipment received from Vietnam during the first wave of the pandemic.
Hungary has committed to support Vietnam’s economic and social development by offering tied aid and cooperation in tourism, vocational training and family support.
“Over the past years, cooperation between our countries has step-by-step become modern, multifaceted and multidimensional, and we are both determined to continue to improve it,” Mihály Varga said
The prime minister was speaking at a Vietnamese-Hungarian business forum in Hanoi, and highlighted that the West "will not be blowing the trade winds in the upcoming decades”
