Aldi to invest 1.3 billion HUF in establishing second service center in Hungary

The Foreign Minister has announced that ALDI International IT Services will invest 1.3 billion HUF (EUR 3.9m) in establishing its second service center in Hungary in Pécs.

Péter Szijjártó said the company, providing IT services for the local unit of German discount chain Aldi, will receive a 300 million HUF government grant for the investment.

According to MTI, the investment will create 70 jobs raising Aldi IIT’s headcount to 150 in Hungary.

The center in Pécs will provide support service in Hungarian, German, English, Italian, French and Slovenian.

ALDI IIT supports operations of ALDI South in 3,800 stores and 55 logistics centers.
