A set builder has died in Hungary during the filming of Blade Runner 2, it has been reported.
According to sources, a yet unnamed 28-year-old construction worker was killed after a structure he was working on collapsed on him.
A statement released by Origo Studios to The Hollywood Reporter read, "The worker was underneath a platform, upon which the set was constructed, when it suddenly collapsed. The cause of the accident is not yet known."
The upcoming sequel is produced by Warner Bros., Alcon Entertainment, 16:14 Entertainment, Scott Free Productions, Thunderbird Films, and Torridon Films, and is due for release in 2017.
An Origo Studios spokesperson revealed that they are currently holding an investigation on the cause of the accident.
