Hungary's central bank rate-setters hiked the base rate by 30 basis points to 2.40 percent at a regular policy meeting on Tuesday. The National Bank of Hungary’s Monetary Council also raised both sides of the interest rate corridor by 30 basis points to 4.4 percent.
