Dávid Klein has become the first Hungarian alpinist to conquer Himalayan peak Annapurna.
Annapurna is one of the tallest peaks in the world with a record height of 8,091 meters.
Klein, one of a few Hungarian alpinists in existence, conquered the top of the mountain without porters and oxygen tanks on Sunday afternoon, reports Hungary Today.
There are only 14 peaks above 8,000 meters in the world and only two of them have never been climbed by a Hungarian before.
Prior to Sunday, one of those unconquered heights was the Annapurna, overcome by Klein while taking part in the Johnny Walker Annapurna Expedition.
