Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said the special knowledge provided by artificial intelligence is needed for the protection of the country, but the human factor is indispensable in defense.
Speaking at the AI Summit 2024 conference in Budapest on Tuesday, Minister Szalay-Bobrovniczky noted that a deteriorating environment had developed as a result of epidemics and wars raging in the world, and at the same time, a technological revolution was taking place, which holds both dangers and opportunities.
The minister said the developments provided by AI should be used in the defense industry and called for cooperation with Hungarian businesses as this also provided multiple opportunities for them.
