Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said Italy and Hungary are strategic partners. At talks with Guido Crosetto, his Italian counterpart, on Wednesday in Rome, Minister Szalay-Bobrovniczky thanked his counterpart for Italy’s participation in the protection of NATO’s eastern flank and in the work of the NATO-enhanced Vigilance Activity Battle Group. Concerning the development of Hungary’s defense industry, the minister said Hungary was looking for ways to boost cooperation with Italian companies in this area.
