A number of new direct flights from Budapest to the United States are set to launch this year.
American Airlines will launch a direct service from Philadelphia to Budapest in its summer schedule.
The flights will operate between May 5th and the end of October 2018. The aircraft will arrive in Budapest at 9.35 am and take off for Philadelphia at 11.35 am, arriving in the American city at 4 pm local time.
Budapest will also operate other direct flights to American cities this year. Polish Airlines LOT will fly between Budapest and New York and Budapest and Chicago from May 3, 2018.
Budapest Airport has brought forward the construction of its new terminal to be completed within two years at Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The new terminal will open in 2020 and will extend the check-in and the security capacity of the airport.
