The European Union must build relations with Arab nations in order to fight terrorism.
According to Péter Szijjártó, minister of Foreign Affiars and Trade, countries in Europe and in the Arab world must cooperate in efforts to fight terrorism and build security.
Speaking after a meeting of Arab League and European Union foreign ministers, Minister Szijjártó said that in light of recent developments the terrorist threat in Europe is “more serious than ever”.
According to MTI, the minister condemned the terrorist attacks, saying those acts “clearly show that creating and maintaining security for the people must be the focus of European Union policy”.
Terrorist attacks on Europe will continue as long as the EU is unable to stop migration, which creates an opening for terrorist organizations to send their people into Europe, Szijjártó insisted.
