Europe’s largest LEGO exhibition opens in Budapest

The LEGO exhibition will run between February 28th and June 16th at the Hungarian Natural History Museum

Europe’s largest LEGO exhibition has opened in Budapest.

One of the largest buildings of the exhibition is the seven-meter long Batmobile made of 900,000 LEGO bricks.

To build the spectacular, 15 trucks lined up at the gates of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, loaded with LEGO bricks and with equipment to build up a 2,000 square-meter exhibition in Budapest.

The eye-catching pieces include: an 11-meter-long Boeing 747 aircraft built from one million bricks; the Ferris Wheel - the world's largest LEGO big wheel and superheroes in 1:1 scale such as Batman, Hulk, Iron Man and Spiderman.

Famous sights of Budapest are also on display. Parliament, Heroes’ Square, the Millennium Memorial and its characteristic sculptures were specially designed to honor the location of the exhibition.

The exhibition will run between February 28th and June 16th, 2019.
