The FINA Swimming World Cup is coming to Budapest in October, it has been announced.
The event will take place at the Duna Arena on October 4th to 6th and will include some of the World’s biggest swimming stars, including Katinka Hosszú.
The World Cup will kick off in Kazan, Russia this September, continue to Doha, Eindhoven and finish off in Budapest.
Katinka Hosszú will be joined by Zsuzsanna Jakabos and Dávid Verrasztó in representing Hungary at the event.
The total prize money of the competition is a whopping US$ 2.5 million per year. The women’s and men’s winners receive US$ 150,000, while silver and bronze medal winners will receive US$100,000 and US$50,000.
