A Hungarian fighter scored a sweeping victory at the Bellator 222 Gala in New York over the weekend.
Adam Borics took down Aaron Pico with a virtuoso flying-knee KO, a spectacular move that earned him a mention in ESPN coverage alongside a number of other sports broadcasts.
“I worked toward this one goal since I turned 16, and I sacrificed everything to get here. I moved to another continent, leaving behind my country, family and friends just to become a better-skilled fighter," said the 24-year-old cage fighter in a post-fight scrum to DAZN USA.
"We had to tackle a lot of difficulties, and I can’t express how grateful I am for everyone who helped me to get here,” he concluded.
