Reisz Gábor’s 2019 feature film Bad Poems has been selected as one of the potential nominees of the prestigious European Film Awards.

The European Film Academy (EFA) has stated that the final list of nominees will be made public during a gala held on November 9th in Seville, while the awards will be handed over on December 7th in Berlin.

Did we manage to stay true to the people we once dreamed of becoming? – asks the central question of the movie. Unlike a traditional coming of age film, it explores the difficulties of navigating adult life while maintaining a curious, innocent point of view.

The movie was produced by the Proton Cinema, Les Films du Balibari, and RTL Hungary, with additional financial support from the Hungarian National Film Fund.
