The Ministry of Human Resources has revealed that retirees will receive higher pension premiums and one-off pension supplements in November.
According to MTI, the average pensioner will be HUF 30,000 (EUR 100) better off in November compared with previous months.
This is the third year the Hungarian government is paying a pension premium based on the economy’s good performance. The Ministry said the elderly should share in the bounty of the country’s economic growth, having worked a lifetime for their country.
The pension premium will be paid to around 2.5 million people who receive normal pensions and retirement benefits.
