Hungary donates 100,000 vaccines to Armenia

The foreign minister said the donation would help Armenia fight the pandemic in a “region where life is not easy”.

The Hungarian government has donated 100,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine to Armenia.

Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said the cargo plane owned by the government left Budapest this morning to deliver the vaccines. Hungary “has taken timely steps so that everyone can get their vaccines, including booster jabs,” he said. The minister said the donation would help Armenia fight the pandemic in a “region where life is not easy”.
