István Nagy, Minister of Agriculture, has highlighted the opportunities in agricultural cooperation between Hungary and Georgia, after meeting Tamara Liluashvili, Georgia’s ambassador to Hungary. Minister Nagy pointed out seed production as an area of cooperation, saying Hungary was prepared to ship high-quality crop seeds to Georgia so that they could be cultivated and exported to other eastern markets. He proposed that Georgian experts visit Hungary to study local agricultural methods and technologies, and highlighted the potential in boosting ties between universities and research institutes.
