Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said on Sunday that Hungary is offering aid to Serbia which is being threatened by floods.
“Our Serbian friends have been hit by serious floods in recent days, the rain just would not stop. That is why today we had a telephone conversation with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Siniša Mali, to whom I offered Hungary’s help, since, unfortunately, we also have experience with these types of natural challenges,” Minister Szijjártó said. “My Serbian colleague informed me that it finally stopped raining today, so they are now assessing the situation. We are waiting for their response tomorrow, meanwhile, we are ready to help,” he added.
