Hungary sends aid to Bosnia-Herzegovina following floods

The Hungarian Disaster Management Authority (OKF) has sent 10 tents, 10 water pumps and 500 blankets to the town of Konjic.

Hungary has sent tents, water pumps and blankets to Bosnia-Herzegovina, which activated the EU Civil Protection Mechanism turning to member states for aid after being hit by severe floods triggered by heavy rainstorms on Friday.

The Hungarian Disaster Management Authority (OKF) has sent 10 tents, 10 water pumps and 500 blankets to the town of Konjic.

Since Friday, many localities have been flooded in southern Bosnia-Herzegovina, and landslides have swept away bridges and buildings. Several people have died.
