Hungary sends condolences to Finland over school shooting

Minister Szijjártó wrote to the Finnish foreign minister saying that he was “deeply saddened” to learn of the “tragic” incident.

Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, has expressed condolences to his Finnish counterpart Elina Valtonen over the shooting in a school in the city of Vantaa in which a student died and others were injured. Minister Szijjártó wrote to the Finnish minister saying that he was “deeply saddened” to learn of the “tragic” incident. He expressed “deep sympathy” to those affected by the tragedy. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family during this difficult time.” He wished the injured a quick recovery.
