Hungary’s foreign ministry has expressed its sadness and sympathy with the United States of America following a shooting that claimed at least 26 lives in Texas over the weekend.
In a statement, the ministry voiced shock over the rampage and condemned the “senseless violence” that claimed so many innocent lives.
“Hungary stands by the United States in these difficult hours as a faithful ally,” the ministry said, and voiced its sympathy with the victims’ families.
The ministry confirmed that no Hungarian nationals have been reported among the victims of the shooting.
No Hungarian nationals have been reported among victims of a recent shooting in Sutherland Springs, in southern Texas, the foreign ministry told MTI on Monday. In its statement, the ministry voiced shock over the rampage in which 26 people were shot dead on Sunday, and condemned the “senseless violence”. “Hungary stands by the United States in these difficult hours as a faithful ally,” the ministry said, and voiced its sympathy with the victims’ families.
