Hungary starts to shine at FINA World Championships

Hungary is making waves at the FINA World Championships after an impressive show over the past few days.

The Hungarian women's water polo team played extremley well in their second group game against France on Tuesday. They won the match with a decisive 24:5 (7:0, 7:2, 6:3, 4:0) margin.

The men's water polo team also played extremely well in their first match against Australia on Monday, where they won 13:3 (1:1, 4:1, 2:1, 6:0).

Hungary is favored to win several of the swimming events taking place later this week. Three-time Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú will compete in the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke, 200m and 400m IM, and the freestyle disciplines.

In the men's swimming events, Dániel Gyurta and László Cseh are hoping to bring home gold medals in the breaststroke and butterfly disciplines, respectively.
