Hungary’s security services will present reports on their experiences of border protection over the past three years at the next session of parliament’s national security committee.
Deputy head of the committee János Halász, from the ruling Fidesz party, told a recent committee session that the Sargentini Report punishes Hungarians for having repeatedly declared, most recently in the spring election, that they reject migration and the mandatory resettlement quotas.
Halász said that since the report compiled by Dutch Green MEP Judith Sargentini also addresses Hungarian border protection, it also affects national security interests.
