Katinka Hosszú won Hungary's first gold medal at the FINA World Championships for the 200m IM on Monday evening.
Hungary's "Iron Lady" has now won three world champisonships in a row to go along with her three Olympic titles secured in Rio last year.
Hosszú pulled out of the 100m backstroke event to focus on the IM, and it certainly paid off after she clocked a time of 2:07:00 beating off competition from Yui Ohashi of Japan and Madisyn Cox of the USA.
Meanwhile, in the women's water polo event, Hungary lost out to Canada 6:4 in the quarterfinals.
