The Central Statistical Office (KSH) has announced that the average gross wage in Hungary rose by an annual 15.5% to 568,300 forints (EUR 1,531) in April. Average net wages rose to 377,900 forints with benefits in kind, up 15.4% compared with the same period last year. Calculating with consumer price inflation of 24.0%, real wages were down 6.9%, KSH said. The net median wage including benefits was 306,700 forints, up 15.3% compared with the same period last year.
