The average gross wage in Hungary rose by an annual 16.6% to 577,900 forints (EUR 1,539) in March.
Exports rose by an annual 11.5% to 12.756 billion euros, while imports increased by 4.3% to 12.175 billion.
In absolute terms, there were 195,000 unemployed, 800 fewer than in February.

According to official figures, the output of the automotive industry grew by an annual 34.5%, albeit from a low base, and up from 23.7% in the previous month.
According to official figures, nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 4.3% to 830,000, while those spent by foreign visitors rose by 44.4% to 908,000.
In November 2022, the gross average wage of full-time employees was 563,600 forints (EUR 1,447).
The number of guest nights spent by domestic travellers rose by 1.6% to 856,000, and guest nights spent by foreign visitors increased by 15.0% to 842,000.
In a month-on-month comparison, factory gate prices edged down 0.8% as prices for domestic sale rose by 1.6% but export prices fell by 2.0%.
The average gross wage in Hungary went up by an annual 18.4% to 510,500 forints (EUR 1,270) in October.
