Olivér Várhelyi unanimously supported by EP’s legal affairs committee

The European Parliament’s legal affairs committee “has established no conflict of interest” in connection with the European commissioner nominees of France, Hungary and Romania.

Ruling Fidesz MEP József Szájer has said Hungary’s European commissioner nominee Olivér Várhelyi was unanimously supported by the European Parliament’s legal affairs committee.

The committee “has established no conflict of interest” in connection with the European commissioner nominees of France, Hungary and Romania.

Várhelyi, Thierry Breton of France and Adina Valean of Romania will be interviewed by committees overseeing their respective portfolios on Thursday.
