In a congratulatory letter to Olaf Scholz on the occasion of his swearing-in as Germany’s new federal chancellor, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said Hungary is committed to maintaining and developing its cooperation with Germany.
According to MTI, the prime minister added that Hungary considers its centuries-long ties with Germany, the change of regime in central Europe and the opening of the inner German border that lead to Europe’s reunification crucial factors in the two countries’ bilateral relations.
