PM Orbán congratulates Uzbek President on re-election

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán talked to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev over the phone on Monday and congratulated him on his re-election to office. PM Orbán said the election results showed that Uzbek voters were committed to “the stability and reforms brought about by Mirziyoyev”. Hungary’s government continues to work to develop economic and political ties between Hungary and Uzbekistan, PM Orbán said. Several Hungarian companies play a significant role in Uzbekistan’s banking sector, communication and trade, PM Orbán and Mirziyoyev said.
