PM Orbán congratulates Volodymyr Zelensky on becoming Ukraine’s new president

The prime minister stressed that the Hungarian government will continue to work for the development of Ukrainian-Hungarian relations

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent a congratulatory message to Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s newly elected president.

“Please allow me to take this opportunity to congratulate you upon your landslide victory with which you have been elected as Ukraine’s next president,” PM Orbán wrote.

The prime minister stressed that the Hungarian government will continue to work for the development of Ukrainian-Hungarian relations. “In these efforts I will count on you, and I look forward to cooperating with you. I wish you all the very best with your responsible duties,” the PM concluded.
