PM Orbán conveys his condolences and sympathy over floods in northern Italy

The floods have claimed numerous lives and deprived tens of thousands of people of their homes, PM Orbán noted, wishing those harmed by the floods a speedy recovery.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has written to his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni, to convey his condolences and sympathy to the relatives of the victims of the devastating floods in northern Italy. The floods have claimed numerous lives and deprived tens of thousands of people of their homes, PM Orbán noted, wishing those harmed by the floods a speedy recovery. He assured the Italian prime minister of the staunch support of the Hungarian nation “during these tragic days”, and he offered Hungary’s help in searching for and rescuing the missing, and in clearing up the damage.
