Prime Minister Viktor Orbán talked to his British counterpart, Boris Johnson, on the phone on Friday, where they discussed the “worrisome” situation in Ukraine. PM Orbán said that while Hungary was as ready as it always has been to take part in the European Union’s anti-war efforts, it will not risk its energy security. Before tabling energy sanctions of any type, the worries of EU member states will have to be addressed. PM Orbán and Johnson agreed to remain in close contact.
