PM Orbán holds talks with President of Uzbekistan

The sides were in agreement that Uzbek-Hungarian cooperation had been “developing spectacularly” in recent years.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held bilateral talks with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sidelines of the Organisation of Turkic States summit in Shusha, Azerbaijan, on Saturday. The sides were in agreement that Uzbek-Hungarian cooperation had been “developing spectacularly” in recent years, with relations raised to the level of strategic partnership in 2021 and several economic projects launched between the two countries. Further plans of cooperation were agreed upon on Saturday, he added.
