Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held talks with Richard Rasi, the Speaker of the Slovak National Council, in his office in Budapest on Tuesday.

PM Orbán and Rasi discussed Hungarian and Slovak stances on the war in Ukraine and energy supplies in Central Europe.

The prime minister said that it was impossible to ensure Hungary's affordable energy supplies without Russian energy resources, and "it is in our joint interest to stand up against Brussels' plans on the matter."
