PM Orbán holds video conference with EC President Charles Michael

The prime minister said rich countries must not be given more funds because that would be in contravention with European values.

 

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has held a video conference with European Council President Charles Michael in preparation for a European Union summit scheduled for July 17-18.

The prime minister said the Hungarian government is interested in ensuring a “fair” budget for the community, but “the current proposal is far from that”.

PM Orbán said rich countries must not be given more funds because that would be in contravention with European values.
