PM Orbán relieves Lieutenant General János Béres of his duties

Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky proposed General Norbert Tajti for the post of director general of the Military National Security Service.

The defense ministry has announced that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has relieved Lieutenant General János Béres of his duties as the director general of the Military National Security Service. Béres will leave the post on Nov 5, the ministry said. Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky thanked Béres for his service, and proposed General Norbert Tajti for the post, the statement said.
