PM Orbán to attend summit of European conservative party leaders in Spain

Santiago Abascal, the leader of the Spanish Vox party, will host European conservative leaders at a summit in Madrid this coming weekend. PM Orbán and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki have confirmed they will be attending the event scheduled for Jan. 28-29. Abascal has visited Hungary and Poland on multiple occasions to share his political vision with the countries he has called Vox’s “two favourite allies”. The El Independiente newspaper in Spain quoted Abascal as saying that his party was in “full agreement” with Hungary and Poland on the issues of border protection, family policy and the protection of sovereign nations.
