Police presence has been stepped up across Hungary in light of the recent terrorist attacks in Europe.
Senior ORFK official Tibor Lakatos announced that the police have increased their visibility in shopping centers, Christmas fairs and other mass events nationwide.
National police chief Károly Papp has also ordered increased protection for the embassies of Germany and Russia in Budapest.
The news comes in light of increased security right across Euope, including London, Paris and German citiies,
