President Áder gives go ahead for development plans of Hungarian Armed Forces

President Áder, who is also commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, also approved the development plans aiming to turn the Hungarian Armed Forces into a major force in the region.

President János Áder has given the go ahead for development plans of the Hungarian Armed Forces.

Army commander Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi said he had briefed President Áder on the details of the evacuation mission in Afghanistan and the Breakthrough 2021 exercise in Várpalota, in central Hungary. The exercise, he said, has demonstrated traditional and new strengths of the armed forces. President Áder, who is also commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, also approved the development plans aiming to turn the Hungarian Armed Forces into a major force in the region.
