President János Áder has taken his second oath of office for his second term as Hungary's president in Parliament today.
Parliament voted President Áder into office for a second five-year term in March. He won the majority vote with 131 votes out of a possible 199.
President Áder was up against László Majtényi, who received just 44 votes, for Hungary’s president.
The president’s office said that Áder had always considered the presidency a constitutional service in which the head of state answers to the Hungarian nation.
