The Guardian newspaper has named Son of Saul by Lászlo Nemes as the 12th best film of the 21st century.

The Guardian newspaper has named Son of Saul by Lászlo Nemes as the 12th best film of the 21st century.

Son of Saul is sandwiched between Mulholland Drive by David Lynch and Far From Heaven by Todd Haynes.

The 2007 thriller, There Will Be Blood by Paul Thomas Anderson came first, while In the Mood For Love by Wong Kar-Wai and Boyhood by Richard Linkslater made it into the top ten.
