Students from ELTE win first prize at prestigious Jessup International Law Competition

Hungarian students were among the best students from over 680 students from 100 countries, beating students from prestigious universities such as Yale and Berkeley in the US, and King's College in London

Students from Hungary’s Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) won first prize on Saturday at the Jessup International Competition.

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition has been held every year in Washington since 1960, and is the largest and most extensive competition for law students worldwide.

In Saturday's competition, Hungarian students were among the best students from over 680 students from 100 countries, beating students from prestigious universities such as Yale and Berkeley in the US, and King's College in London.
