The article goes on to write that despite the intitial resitance to the prime minister's stance on immigration, many European leaders have now started to echo his view.
The article, written by Jacopo Barigazzi, also mentions that Hungary's overall position on immigration and their border protection policy is becoming the majority position in Europe.
The reporter also quotes a senior EU official as saying, “nobody will admit it in this town, but yes, Orbán’s narrative is prevailing."
