Viktor Orbán meets Marine Le Pen

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held talks with Marine Le Pen, president of the French National Rally in Paris on Friday.

According to MTI, the meeting focused on the dangers facing Europe, including the war in Ukraine and its economic consequences, the unprecedented rise in prices, Brussels' misguided and dangerous sanctions policy, and the escalation of the migration crisis.

They agreed that European parties representing traditional values must unite to defend the continent's nations in these times of danger and war, as it seems Brussels bureaucrats and left-wing parties cannot be relied upon to defend European people and families.

PM Orbán informed the National Rally president about new government measures in Hungary to protect families, pensioners, jobs and public utility price cuts even amid the war, and Le Pen praised the newly introduced extra-profit tax system.
