Hungary is helping Egypt manage the influx of refugees from Gaza by providing the country with medical supplies and financial aid.
Aid worth 30 million forints (EUR 80,860) will be delivered to Ukraine and the rest provided for refugees staying in Hungary.
The Japanese government is providing 926,583 US dollars to IOM Hungary for its provision of humanitarian aid such as accommodation, food, child care and basic services for vulnerable people who fled the war in Ukraine.
Hungary is sending 100 tons of medicines and medical equipment to earthquake-hit parts of Turkey.
The aid package includes generators, clothing, protective gear and other medical equipment.
Minister Szijjártó told the European Humanitarian Forum that the government’s humanitarian strategy was determined by the proximity of the war in Ukraine and Hungary’s over thousand-year Christian statehood.
