István Hollik said a report submitted to the national security committee and press reports point to leftist parties receiving funding from multiple sources, aimed at influencing Hungarian politics.
“The leader of the dollar-left has let slip twice that they have been working hard to prevent the payment of funds by the EU to Hungary,” István Hollik said.
István Hollik said the corruption scandal entangling Brussels is “the biggest such scandal” of the decade with left-wing politicians “playing the main role” in it.
Hungary could emerge quickly from the crisis once the European economy starts to recover because the country has the knowledge to manage a crisis and is still seeing an inflow of foreign investments.
Although all 106 candidates of the ruling Fidesz party have collected the required number of signatures to run in their individual constituencies in the April 3 general election, the party will continue its signature drive as a show of strength.
Hungary is the first country in Europe to hold a referendum on child protection, which is a critical national issue.
István Hollik said the left never helped the people when it was in power, and even imposed more burdens on them.
“They talk about climate protection when they are introducing a new tax which will cost Hungarians a monthly HUF 32,000 (EUR 90),” István Hollik said.
