Hungary wants peace in Ukraine as soon as possible and will support all diplomatic efforts to end the war.
Minister Szijjártó said the effect of the EU’s planned sanctions package against Russian fossil fuels on Hungary’s energy security and the economy would be akin to a “nuclear bomb”.

The foreign minister said energy supplies are not affected by the latest round of EU sanctions against Russia, and Hungary’s energy supply is still secure.
