State Secretary Csaba Dömötör has confirmed that 1,191,000 people have filled out the government’s latest National Consultation public survey, with most of them having returned the questionnaires by post by the August 25 deadline.
The survey was launched in early July to gauge people’s opinions on a range of issues, including migration, tax refunds for families, the fight against the pandemic, the constitutional protection of family subsidies, the recent law on child protection and vaccine production in Hungary. In a Facebook video message, Dömötör thanked all those who expressed their opinion, adding that the government will decide on its next steps based on the survey’s results. The findings of the survey will be made public as soon as possible, he said.
