Dagály Bath re-opens in Budapest

After a temporary closure, the Dagály Bath and Danube Arena complex is now open to the public

The biggest swimming pool arena complex in Budapest has re-opened.

After a temporary closure, the Dagály Bath and Danube Arena complex is now open to the public.

Dagály Bath was originally built in 1948 near Árpád bridge, in the 13th district and quickly became one of the most popular baths in Budapest. Originally called ’Liberty Bath’, the public nicknamed it Dagály Bath due to its close proximity to Dagály street.

The Bath has many outdoor pools and thermal spas on offer, plus is located right next door to the internationally renowned Danube Arena.

The Danube Arena was designed for the 2017 FINA World Championships with a capacity to host major sporting events holding more than 10,000 visitors.

The construction of the arena provided the opportunity for renovated swimming pools and a new wellness area on the complex.
